Illustrator & Designer

I am an award winning freelance Graphic DesignerIllustrator based in Cornwall. I specialise in Brand concepts, advertising, web design and illustration but do enjoy designing anything.

I love nothing more than doing Graphic Design and Illustration, for clients and for my own collections.I have worked with agencies in the past including Richard Quick Design and Portfolio Marketing. I  am now a member of the Cornwall Design Forum (CDF) Committee.

I am best recognised for being the UK & Ireland winner of the DAF award 2007. My work has been featured in the London Design Festival 2008 and also on the Respect For Animals website. It will also be featured in a new publication ‘For A Good Cause’ which will be published late 2009.

I am a sessional lecturer of Graphic Design at Cornwall College and I have also taught in other local universities.

In my spare time when I am not doodling or designing I love to spend time training and showing myMiniature Pedigree Shetland Ponies. Which you can see more of at Little Haven Shetland’s website.

I have been illustrating since I can remember and am now getting into the childrens book industry by woking with Clickety Books. I have already designed their brand, website, Characters and have started on the books! All to be launched late 2010!

I hope to continue to pick up illustration jobs all over the country once this has been launched! Wither it be in cornwall of further afield!

Another Illustration project I am currently working on is Richard the Lionfart. You can see a feature and a link to my site here: Me!

As for Graphic design I have been working with a couple of clients on different projects:

SouthwestCRM – They have enjoyed meteoric growth since it began trading in 2007.  It consists of a small team of IT professionals based in the UK but servicing organisations across Europe. The team specialises in helping businesses to realise the full benefits of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Document Management systems.  We are authorised partners for SugarCRM, info@hand and KnowledgeTree.  We develop extensions and integrations between these products and other systems that our customers may be using.

People And Gardens – They supply a day care service for people with physical and emotional impairments. We aim to promote emotional and physical well being through gardening and group activities within a real working environment. We are run by and for people whose lives have been affected by disability.

Participants have a range of disabilities from severe autism to Down’s Syndrome. Many have issues with self esteem, confidence and social exclusion. People and Gardens provides the basis for improving independence, personal development, happiness and self-belief.

Bosinver Cottages: Bosinver Farm offers top quality farm holidays in Cornwall, located in a hidden valley between St Austell and Mevagissey, with 30 acres of wildflower meadows and friendly farm animals on the doorstep.
